Kaleidoscope

I held it up before the light so I could look inside
It appeared just like a kaleidoscope, about a mile wide
All colors of a prism, these pieces of my life
I spun it around madly, held it up, and turned it down
The pieces rearranged themselves, took on a different shape
No matter how I worked with it the pattern would not stay
The pieces fit together, then they fell away
to rearrange themselves again and begin another dayImage
