You wear me well

You wear me like a jacket
on a cold and windy day
I drink you in like coffee,
my vice in early morning
You look at me with longing
hungry eyes on that new truck
I can eat you up like chocolate
syrupy and hot on vanilla ice cream
You play me like an instrument
just pick me up and make me sing
I wear you like a heart shaped locket
over my heart, between my breasts
It’s times like these

we love each other best
