Ripples

Beating wings deliver goose feathered bodies
Honking horns hearald their early morning arrival
Skiing across the lake, sending ripples far to disrupt
the stillness of the glasslike water

Their arrival much like yours
swooping in, blowing your own horn,
disrupting lives before you take flight,
disappearing again
Only a memorybirds 071
